Brandenburg's office in Gary, Indiana is located on a 35 acre site served by the EJ&E Railroad. Engineering services include electrical design, piping design and environmental assessment as well as extensive CAD support. The yard area is specifically designed to function as a low cost scrap segregation and preparation facility. Scrap metals are received and shipped by both rail and truck. Yard improvements include a combination truck and rail scale capable of weighing 200 ton vehicles. Portions of the site are used for the storage of construction equipment and materials. Brandenburg operates equipment maintenance, fabrication and assembly shops at the Gary facility.
